Butterfly Basics meets the Butterfly Thinlits

Hello and welcome back.....

Today's post is all about Butterflies... The gorgeous Butterfly Basics Stamp Set and the fabulous Butterfly Thinlits....
I love both of these, although I have not always been a fan of intricate dies, sometimes a bit too much like hard work trying to get the bits out and the card off the die, but in the NEW Autumn/Winter Catalogue there is something to make life a little easier, its called the Precision Base Plate and its designed to" deliver improved performance with more detailed dies giving you extra fine cuts" and you are going to love it especially when you see the new ornament dies.....mmm.....mmmm..
Enough of that on to the card....

So we have a Chocolate Chip card base topped with a Very Vanilla layer, stamped with Choc Chip, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow.

The Butterfly had been sponged with  Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango and Pumpkin Pie.....I think I have used this set of dies more than any other...I really love sponging them with different colour combinations just to see what they will look like....lol

I added tiny rhinestones all over the ferns to look like morning dew...Love the effect... hard to see how beautiful it looks in a photo...(well mine anyway!)

I hope you like today's card, thanks for stopping by....
Happy Crafting X
